Each March at Moby Dick we celebrate our birthday by celebrating the support we receive from our friends, neighbours and visitors to White Rock by giving back to those in need. By donating 50 cents from each guest check in the month of March to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation, We put our money where the chips go.
Since the inception of this celebration Moby Dick, and of course it's faithful customers, have donated thousands of dollars to the support of quality care in our hospital. Click Here to visit the hospital foundation website.

Tourism is important to our small city, and Moby Dick is always keen to lend a hand. In addition to our Travelocity award we have been recognized by the city and its residents for the quality of our Patio and for our involvement in the Canada Day Celebrations.
The White Rock Business Improvement Association is a not-for-profit business enhancement collective of retail, service and commercial property owners within the defined White Rock business improvement areas of Uptown, Five Corners, East Beach and West Beach. Governed by a voluntary board of directors, the BIA was created in 2005 to promote, enhance and champion a vibrant White Rock business community. At present, the BIA represents more than 450 business members. You can learn more about the White Rock Business Improvement Association by Clicking Here.
Our "Home Town Hockey Team" is one of our favorites, and we work together with the team to help bolster community awareness of this cup-winning Junior "A" team playing in the heart of the Semiahmoo Peninsula. The team drops by throughout the season for fan appreciation visits, (not to mention secret dinner visits) and we fly the Moby Dick colours at the South Surrey Arena. You can learn more about the South Surrey Eagles by Clicking Here.
Located not far from the arena is another South Surrey sports Icon. Softball City is the home to the provincial amateur softball association Softball BC, and to the Canada Cup; the International Women's Fast-pitch Tournament typically held each July. The Management and Staff of Moby Dick acknowledge the importance of amateur sports to the health of the community, and offer our financial and wholehearted moral support by once again flying the Moby Dick colours at Softball City.
